I think the fishtail braid is so pretty. I've been wanting to try it in my daughters hair but I had no idea how so I went to YouTube to find a tutorial.
Needless to say, there are TONS of videos on how to do a fishtail braid. I watched a few and found this one to be the best for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxs_T_9omUY
For me it was easier to see what was happening on light colored hair rather than dark hair.
It was easier than I thought it would be. Here's how my first fishtail braid turned out yesterday....
Here's my second attempt this morning before church...
Now I want to learn how to french braid!
